But You Look So Good!

Because you will hear this so often, it becomes something you must learn to deal with and help your friends and family understand. Having myasthenia gravis is having an Invisible Chronic Illness, or ICI. Many diseases fall in this category. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll get angry, feel frustrated and darn near want to hurt someone one of these days if you hear it just one more time. It becomes such a big deal that I have created a special section for it. It is also a big deal in that we, as MGers, have to deal with it internally.

The Invisible Disabilities Advocate is a great place to start with many links to articles that can be printed.
